If you read our mission, that was the first "Rifles Only" description written over a decade ago. We have come a long way since then but those words are still very valid. We provide the most up to date, realistic training we can. Our client list has become significantly larger and we have been able to grow due to these relationships. We are honored to have worked with the best in the world. Not only have we been able to improve some of their skills but we have also learned from them.
Rifles Only started as a load development company for 338 caliber rifles in the mid 90's. Instruction started shortly after that at various venues across Texas. There has been some confusion over the name "Rifles Only". That is my fault. I stuck with the name despite the fact that we conduct a large number of both handgun and carbine courses along with classes that do not need any firearms at all. I liked the name so I decided to stick with it despite our expanding facility.
Rifles Only has moved from our first facility which was 113 acres to our current facility. We have slowly expanded and improved our ranges. Since moving we added a full-featured live fire kill house and a 360 degree live fire pistol and carbine range that is dedicated to Stewart Lewis. Stewart was a handgun instructor for us for several years before he passed away suddenly. He is sorely missed.
Rifles Only hosts two competition each year in conjunction with Sniper's Hide. These competitions have grown in scope, number of shooters, and active sponsorships each year. They have attracted shooters from all over the world.
Rifles Only also offers tried and true products in our pro shop for essential gear needed by shooters in the field. We sell no junk, nor do we offer products just for the sake of selling something. Any product in our shop has been well tested and it is all gear that we use ourselves.
We just completed construction on a new 6000 square foot facility that will house our new offices, pro-shop, and classroom.
